This adaptor has a high release force so that it will not disconnect if you fall in whitewater up to grade 2/3. The release force is set so that if your leash causes an entrapment it will release you before you are submerged if you are wearing suitable whitewater equipment including a personal flotation device, and are wearing your waist/chest quick release belt relativly high on your body.  It uses our patented release technology to ensure reliable, repeatable and automatic release when you need it most.
